2021 Relay for Life: Colors of Hope

Because of the pandemic, the Relay for Life was held virtually this year on the evening of August 6.  The schedule of events was as follows:

6:00pm – a few teams sold t-shirts, RJ’s Italian ice, homemade cinnamon rolls, McAllister’s tea, individually wrapped cancer ribbon sugar cookies, homemade items
6:30pm – luminaria were set out
7:30pm – ceremony began and was broadcast on 100.1 NASH FM! The ceremony included survivor recognition, sponsor shout outs, and our luminaria ceremony including the names being read over the speaker and on the radio.

Guests were welcome to bring a chair and enjoy the ceremony outside or if they preferred they could stay in their cars and enjoy the ceremony drive-in style.

More information can be found at www.relayforlife.org/colecomo or their Facebook page, @rflcolecomo.  An online video memorial is also shown on their website.
